AATE 2017 Conference August 2-6, 2017
Divisions-Collisions-Coalitions
AATE's 30th annual conference will be held in the romantic, historic, and vibrant New Orleans, Louisiana from August 2-6, 2017. In a city known for its food, culture, music, and spirits, conference attendees will escape into deep explorations and decadent celebrations. In a city known for being a cultural melding pot, we will explore where our field divides, where those divisions have the serendipity to collide, and how those collisions can make coalitions for stronger theatre and education. With the backdrop of history, attendees will experience the city that created jazz and the city that Katrina and the Federal Flooding of 2005 changed forever. An experience unlike no other awaits in the lush Southern city that has captivated the American imagination for generations. Come march down to the party in New Orleans! Come explore divisions, collisions, and coalitions! We can't wait to see you!
