We know that Theatre and Drama are essential in the lives of students year round, but March is a great time to celebrate and increase public awareness of the important impact of Theatre In Our Schools. SETC K-12 Educator Day - March 5, 2008, Chattanooga, TN. AATE has partnered with SETC for this exciting one-day pre-convention event.

ITA/AATE TIOS Mini-conference: Celebrating What Works
Sunday, March 16, Evanston, IL. This professional development event just for elementary and middle level drama educators is a rare opportunity not to be missed.

Leap Into TIOS Month! Friday, February 29th, 4:00pm-6:00pm, Bethesda, MD.
Join us in AATE's new office for an open house, and network with other local AATE members.

Spring Break 2008: Tempe or Bust! March 14-16, Tempe, AZ.
This is an excellent opportunity to network, make new friends and artistic colleagues while taking a break from the grind of graduate school.

Weekend activities will include: workshops on play development and ensemble improvisation, attending a new play, and socializing. We are limiting the number of attendees to 30 people. If you are interested in possibly attending please contact Molly Gittelman at molly.gittelman@asu.edu for more information on the schedule and lodging. There is no cost to register for the workshop and most meals are provided for you. Some financial assistance is available.
